Why I picked Media, again.

I'm retaking AS Media this year because I failed my other subjects last year and I got a very low grade for Media, much lower than what was expected from me. I think Media is one of my strongest subjects and I excelled in my coursework last year by getting a grade A and I'm looking to improve further on my skills as I'm looking for a career in filming/media. I would consider myself an expert in a couple of computer programs such as Photoshop, After Effects, Cinema 4D and mostly Final Cut Pro and I taught myself how to use these applications by myself, I just bought and downloaded them and started playing around, pretty raw. I've had great media related work experience, for example at Al Jazeera and going behind the scenes of a couple of productions and films. This year I'm looking to learn a lot more as I have two very brilliant teachers and I will take everything a lot more seriously than I did last year. I'm also willing to help the new students who possibly didn't even take Media GCSE and aid them into improving their coursework because the media department have superb facilities and everyone doing Media should be able to utilise them well and produce magnificent pieces of work.
